Installation

  • install the Agent on your Cassandra nodes

Configuration

sudo cp /etc/datadog-agent/conf.d/cassandra.d/conf.yaml.example /etc/datadog-agent/conf.d/cassandra.d/conf.yaml

Restart the agent

sudo service datadog-agent restart

Validation

sudo datadog-agent status | grep cassandra

    cassandra
      instance_name : cassandra-localhost-7199
      message : Number of returned metrics is too high for instance: cassandra-localhost-7199. Please read http://docs.datadoghq.com/integrations/java/ or get in touch with Datadog Support for more details. Truncating to 350 metrics.

Convert timeboard to screenboard
